develop project schedules, Project Execution Plan (PEP), Work Breakdown

of 8 project control analysts and planners in support of various Sperry
Drilling, Production Enhancement and Cementing tools development projects

contractual guidelines, cost/budget limitations, quality levels, customer
deliverable quality expectations, and schedules.
Processed billing activities in SAP for each
assigned customer based on negotiated contract terms.
Collaborated and negotiated with third party
vendors and supplies to secure materials and subcontractor services at
competitive pricing. Identified cost-savings initiative and
generated/submitted purchase order requests.
Prepared purchase orders, monthly accruals, and
performed monthly reconciliations of internal and external capital costs to
Lawson reports. Closely tracked and monitored vendor charges for hardware,
software, training, documentation, licenses, and external consulting for
multiple project managers.

Managed a $45 million operating budget, including monthly updates of
actual expenses and forecast revisions for 90+ programs/cost centers for the
Midwest Area of Verizon Wireless
Monitored the execution of the approved budgets, including obligations
and expenditures in multi- year programs and associated administrative costs,
through various automated financial management software programs
Assisted in managing and maintaining a stable budget through financial
records management and preparation of financial reports for programmed funds
analysis and project planning.
Prepared purchase orders by establishing contact with vendors,
acquiring and comparing price quotes, developing justification documents for
procurement, and ensuring that goods and services were received.
Led the Asset Management team, conducting annual discovery of assets
& coordinating the logistics of inventory control and the overall
execution of asset management.
Performed and conducted P&L variance and forecasting analysis
during month-end close and quarter updates for senior management.
§ Projected a $1.8 million dollar combined general fund
savings in fiscal year 2011's third quarter report. This report assisted the
Midwest Area senior management in issuing a 25% reduction in non-essential
spending. This decision resulted in the department ending the year with a
small surplus instead of using reserves to balance the budget
§ Conducted a state by state collection policies analysis of
the Midwest area leading to changes in accounts receivables collection
increasing revenue by $3,750,000 for the Midwest area in 2010.
